Earth Friendly Sealer
The SoyTuf Sealer is a durable eco-sealer containing advanced technology for the purpose of sealing all wood and concrete products. SoyTuf sealers can be used indoors and is also durable enough for outdoor applications. This formula is solvent free and uses no hazardous materials resulting in very low VOC’s. There are no hazardous fumes or harmful off gassing.
Where to use:
Use on all wood and concrete products including, decks, patios, garage floors, sidewalks, pool decks, micro toppings.
Coverage:
A gallon covers approximately 400-600 square feet depending on type of substrate and the method of application used.
Preparation of surface:
Surface must be clean, dry and free of dust, grease and all debris.
Application Method:
The sealer may be applied with HVLP sprayer, or a T-Bar with a foam applicator pad. This is probably the preferred method as it makes spreading the sealer evenly, much easier, and faster.
Drying time:
Typically SoyTuf sealers will be dry to the touch in 1hour and will be dry enough for topcoat in 1-2 hours. At this time it must be dry and tack free. Surface will be ready for light foot traffic after about 12 hours. 24 hours for normal foot traffic. 5-7 days for full cure.
Product Performance:
The natural plant oils in SoyTuf sealers have the ability to resist moisture, stains, UV, abrasion from wear and tear.
Safety Precautions:
Read MSDS Sheets for all safety information prior to use. Although SoyTuf products are made without hazardous chemicals, it is always best to use protective gear such as safety glasses, latex gloves and dust mask when coming in direct contact with product, as they can cause eye, skin and health hazards.
Caution:
Keep container closed when not in use. Do not take internally. Always use with adequate ventilation. Avoid contact with eyes and skin. Keep away from children. Cover or dispose of buckets properly to prevent drowning.
